TrainerCheck vs 1FIT

1FIT is a full coaching platform — programming, nutrition, payments, automation — priced from £40/month with a per-client charge on top. TrainerCheck does one job, the automated weekly check-in, for a flat £25/month with unlimited clients. Both bill in pounds, so this is the cleanest price comparison we can give you.

How much does 1FIT cost?

1FIT's plans include a set number of clients and then charge £4 per client, per month beyond it. As publicly listed on 1fit.com in July 2026, billed monthly:

PlanIncluded clientsPrice
BasicUp to 10, then £4/client£40/mo
GrowthUp to 10, then £4/client£60/mo
ScaleUp to 75, then £4/client£175/mo
EnterpriseUnlimited£295/mo, or £250/mo billed annually

All plans come with a free trial. Enterprise is the only plan without a per-client charge, so unlimited clients on 1FIT starts at £250/month on annual billing.

The £4 is the part to read twice

A headline of £40/month reads fine. The bit that decides your actual bill is the £4 per client per month once you pass the included allowance — because that's a cost that grows every time you sign someone.

On the Basic plan, ten clients is £40. Twenty is £80. Thirty is £120. Fifty is £200 — at which point the £175 Scale plan becomes the cheaper route, and the maths starts again from there.

Worked from 1FIT's July 2026 list prices, taking whichever plan is cheapest at each roster size. Your actual bill depends on which plan's features you need, not only on client count.

Where 1FIT wins

It's a proper platform and we're not. 1FIT builds workouts from a large exercise library, handles nutrition coaching, takes client payments and automates business admin, all in one place with a branded client app. TrainerCheck does none of that and isn't trying to.

If your clients genuinely open a coaching app to train, or you want programming, nutrition and billing under one login, that's worth paying platform prices for — and no amount of price comparison should talk you out of software you actually use.

So which should you use?

Stay with 1FIT if: you build programs in it, coach nutrition through it, use its client app, or bill clients inside the platform.

Switch to TrainerCheck if: you deliver training your own way and need the accountability loop done properly — automated weekly check-ins, chase-ups you never send by hand, habit tracking, progress charts, monthly recap emails to every client, and a dashboard that tells you exactly who needs attention. Unlimited clients, no per-client charge, and nothing for your clients to install.

Looking for a 1FIT alternative just for check-ins?

Most 1FIT alternatives are other all-in-one platforms — a different program builder, a different client app, and usually the same shape of bill where growing your roster grows your costs.

TrainerCheck is a different kind of alternative: it drops the platform and keeps the accountability loop. Automated weekly check-ins, reminders, progress tracking, unlimited clients on one flat price, and nothing for your clients to download. Deliver training however you already do; let the check-ins run themselves.

Common questions

How much does 1FIT cost?

1FIT prices in pounds, with a per-client charge on top of most plans. As publicly listed in July 2026, billed monthly: Basic is £40/month for up to 10 clients, Growth is £60/month for up to 10 clients, and Scale is £175/month for up to 75 — each charging £4 per client per month beyond the included cap. Enterprise is £295/month, or £250/month billed annually, and is the only plan with unlimited clients. All plans include a free trial. By comparison TrainerCheck is a flat £25/month with unlimited clients, though it only runs the weekly check-in loop rather than a full platform.

Is TrainerCheck a good 1FIT alternative?

For check-ins, yes. TrainerCheck does automated weekly client check-ins for a flat £25/month with unlimited clients and no per-client charges, but it doesn't build workouts, write nutrition plans or process payments. If the check-in and accountability loop is the part of 1FIT you actually use, it's a focused, much cheaper alternative. If your clients train from programs in the 1FIT app, it isn't a full replacement.

Is TrainerCheck cheaper than 1FIT?

Yes, at every roster size, and both price in pounds so there's no exchange rate to account for. 1FIT's cheapest plan is £40/month for up to 10 clients plus £4 per client beyond that, so 30 clients on Basic works out at about £120/month. Unlimited clients requires the Enterprise plan at £295/month, or £250/month billed annually. TrainerCheck is £25/month flat with unlimited clients and no per-client fees.

Does 1FIT charge per client?

Yes, above each plan's included allowance. As listed in July 2026, Basic and Growth include 10 clients and Scale includes 75, with £4 per client per month charged beyond that. Only the Enterprise plan at £295/month removes the per-client charge with unlimited clients. TrainerCheck has no per-client fee on any roster size — it's a flat £25/month.

Should I switch from 1FIT to TrainerCheck?

Switch if you deliver training your own way and mainly need the accountability loop: automated weekly check-ins, chase-ups for non-responders, habit and progress tracking, and a dashboard showing who needs attention. Stay with 1FIT if you build programs in it, write nutrition plans in it, or take client payments through it — it's a full coaching platform and TrainerCheck deliberately isn't.
