TrainerCheck vs Everfit

Everfit is a full coaching platform with a genuinely good free tier and a low headline price. TrainerCheck does one job — automated weekly client check-ins — for a flat £25/month, unlimited clients. The honest difference is less about features than about how the bill is put together.

The headline price isn't the price

Everfit advertises from $19/month, which looks unbeatable next to almost anything. The detail worth knowing before you compare: the Pro plan is tiered by how many clients you have — roughly $3.80 per client at 5 clients, falling to about $0.97 per client at 300 — and several of the pieces coaches assume are included are sold as separate modules.

The one that matters most here is Autoflow, Everfit's automation module, from $29/month for your first 30 clients. If the reason you're shopping is "I want my check-ins to send themselves," that's the line item you're actually buying — on top of the base plan, not inside it. Meal plans ($39/month), on-demand content (from $25/month) and payments (from $9/month) sit in the same column.

None of that makes Everfit expensive for what it is. It's a lot of platform. It just means the $19 you compared against isn't the number you'd pay.

The add-on maths

Take a coach who wants the thing most coaches want — check-ins that go out on their own and chase the people who ignore them. On Everfit that's Pro + Autoflow: from $19/month plus from $29/month, so roughly $48/month at five clients — and both halves climb as the roster grows.

TrainerCheck is £25/month at any size, with the automation included because the automation is the product. A coach going from 5 clients to 50 pays exactly what they paid on day one.

Everfit pricing as publicly listed on everfit.io in July 2026 (monthly billing, USD; annual billing is cheaper). Everfit prices in US dollars and TrainerCheck in pounds, so any direct comparison moves with the exchange rate. Pricing and packaging change — always verify on their site before deciding.

When Everfit is the better call

Two cases, and we'd rather say them plainly than pretend otherwise.

You coach five clients or fewer. Everfit's Starter plan is free, forever, for up to 5 clients. Free beats £25/month — take the free plan. Come back when your roster outgrows it and the automation question starts costing you real money.

You want the whole platform. If your clients genuinely train from programs in the app, you write their meal plans, and you take payments in the same place, Everfit does all of that and TrainerCheck does none of it. Paying for a full platform is only a bad deal when you're not using the platform.

So which should you use?

Stay with Everfit if: you program training inside it, your clients follow workouts in the app, you use meal planning, or you bill clients through it.

Switch to TrainerCheck if: you deliver training your own way and need the accountability loop done properly — automated weekly check-ins, chase-ups you never send by hand, habit tracking, progress charts, monthly recap emails to every client, and a dashboard that tells you exactly who needs attention. One price, no modules, no per-client maths.

Looking for an Everfit alternative just for check-ins?

Most Everfit alternatives are other all-in-one platforms — a different program builder, a different client app, usually the same shape of bill with the pieces named differently. If what you're tired of is the platform itself, moving sideways won't fix it.

TrainerCheck is a different kind of alternative: it drops the platform and keeps the accountability loop. Automated weekly check-ins, reminders, progress tracking, one flat price with nothing to bolt on, and your clients never install anything. Deliver training however you already do; let the check-ins run themselves.

Common questions

Is TrainerCheck a good Everfit alternative?

For check-ins, yes. TrainerCheck does automated weekly client check-ins for a flat £25/month with no client caps, but it doesn't build workouts, write meal plans or process payments. If the check-in and accountability loop is the part of Everfit you actually use, it's a focused alternative. If your clients train from programs in the Everfit app every day, it isn't a full replacement.

Is TrainerCheck cheaper than Everfit?

It depends on your roster and which modules you need. Everfit's Starter plan is free for up to 5 clients, so at that size free beats £25/month. Above that, Everfit Pro starts at $19/month billed monthly and scales with client count, and automation (Autoflow) is a separate add-on from $29/month — so a Pro plan with automation starts around $48/month at five clients and rises as you grow. TrainerCheck is a flat £25/month at any roster size with automation included.

Is check-in automation included in Everfit?

Everfit includes forms and progress tracking on its paid plans, but its automation module, Autoflow, is priced as a separate add-on from $29/month for your first 30 clients (as publicly listed in July 2026). On TrainerCheck automation isn't an add-on — automated weekly check-ins and chase-ups for non-responders are the product, included in the flat £25/month.

Do my clients need the Everfit app to use TrainerCheck?

No. TrainerCheck clients don't install anything. They tap a personal link and fill in a 60-second check-in in any browser — no app, account or password to manage.

Should I switch from Everfit to TrainerCheck?

Switch if you deliver training your own way and mainly need the accountability loop: automated weekly check-ins, chase-ups for non-responders, habit and progress tracking, and a dashboard showing who needs attention. Stay with Everfit if you program training in its app, use its meal planning, or take client payments through it — and if you coach five clients or fewer, its free Starter plan is hard to argue with.
